Obama Wins Fredericksburg

According to both the state board of elections, Fredericksburg City voters overwhelmingly voted for Obama.  6081 vs 3381, I would say that was pretty decisive.  Even more voters cast their ballot for Mark Warner (7037 to Gilmore’s 2217).  Even Bill Day took the city with 5154 votes to 3773 for Rob Whitman.  This area has officially entered the ranks of Northern VA.

Turnout was impressive, approaching 75% of registered voters.
