A Die-Hard Obama Supporter Who Didn’t Vote for Obama

To me, this is what makes America, not just the greatest country in the world, but in the history of the world. The fact that Sen. Obama is in the position he’s in today is just another example. Some people can’t see past a person’s skin color, or religion, or sexual orientation, and that’s fine. If that’s what you’re about, then that’s your problem; but that’s not what this country is about. I’m sorry I’m not more surprised that someone like Barack Obama is on the verge of being elected President of the United States; but I believe in America. Some people have thought we couldn’t possibly elect a person of color to the highest office in the land. My answer to them? Yes we can.
