Help the local economy, support your local restaurant.  This week begins the 2009 restaurant week (actually a little longer than a week).  From now until the end of Jan, you can experience lunch for $10.09 and dinner for $20.09 at many of your favorite dining establishments.  Call it our local bailout.  Call it a good time.  The specialized menus are sure to delight.  Last year we at at several, but the specials at Bistro seem to come to mind.  We’re going out tonight and the sample menu from Jake & Mikes looks particularly appealing to me.
