FINAL: DOWN GOES GODZILLA!

To paraphrase Mr. T: “I pity the fools!”

RPV’s state convention meets today in Richmond to determine whether former Gov. Jim “I flunked Accounting 101″ Gilmore or Del. Robert “Sideshow Bob” Marshall (R-Proud White County)  wins the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate.  The GOP nominee will take on former Gov. Mark Warner in the general election

What a choice. 

We hope conventioneers bring their 3-D glasses (and asbestos underwear), because this matchup has the makings of a really bad 1960s B-grade post-atomic bomb sci-fi movie, specifically: Mothra V. Godzilla.

So, who will win:  Jim “Mothra” Gilmore or Bob “Godzilla” Marshall? 

“Please listen, we all understand. But do not blame every one of us of what has happened. The monster is killing everyone. The good are being killed, as well as the evil. Are you going to let innocent men died (sic.) along side guilty men. You have no right to decide that, that right is sacred. My friends and I appeal to you with the utmost humility. Our people are unable to stop Godzilla. We truly like to help you, but we need your help first. Refuse us then, and everyone will die!”

UPDATE: Tom and Jeannemarie reporting a brisk business at the concession stand. But $6 for a box of DOTS? C’mon!
