Chef HOG – best BBQ I’ve had in VA – The were the concession at the trail ride today. He normally parks the mobile smoker about 2 miles from my house. I#039;ve seen it 100 times and never stopped. I#039;ll be stopping regularly from now on.

Monday afternoon chase

By From http://stormsrus.blogspot.com/ • Apr 19th, 2009 • Category: Blog Entries.Local

It looks like tomorrow afternoon will find me out chasing…the question is exactly where to target. Without more fine-grained model analysis I am currently thinking Thornburg, which would give me several road options. However I will have to check th…

On Friday, April 17th,  RIFF had a screening of BARAKA. After it was over, there was a lot of positive feedback, and luckily for all of you that came, and those of you that missed it, there is another one soon!

14 year anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing.

By From http://www.imsurroundedbyidiots.com • Apr 19th, 2009 • Category: Blog Entries.Local

I didn’t realize the anniversary was today until Gabriel Malor over at Ace of Spades did a post about it:
I can’t believe it has been so long. Fourteen years ago at 9:02 in the morning a truck parked outside the America’s Kids Day Care Center exploded. The blast, fueled by a fertilizer-diesel mix, was felt […]

140 Characters, Or Less

By From http://fred2blue.com • Apr 18th, 2009 • Category: Blog Entries.Local

A fortnightly rant, FL-S style.
Writing is something I am told I do well. I can bang out a 500 or 600 word blog post in short order; on a typical day, I may produce 1,500 words or more in the form of proposals, summaries, and email.
And that’s just for work.
Add to that: all my blogging […]

Change of location for today, VA chase Monday?

By From http://stormsrus.blogspot.com/ • Apr 18th, 2009 • Category: Blog Entries.Local

I was finally able to get to the models page I prefer and I’ve modified my target location if I was chasing in Tornado Alley today. I’ve moved it westward to Woodward OK based on the model data showing storms breaking out near the TX/OK panhandle line…

Did the Republicans Not Learn Anything

If you’ve emailed me at chris@cjwhite.us please be patient. I seem to be having challenges accessing that server. I will get to it eventually!
