Richmond area chase

By From http://stormsrus.blogspot.com/ • May 2nd, 2009 • Category: Blog Entries.Local

To give my latest equipment suite a shakedown I headed out at 1400 today to catch some non-severe storms firing south of a front that stalled between here and Richmond. I ran into the northeastern portion of a large cell near Ashland and pulled off th…

Going out in style

By From http://www.odonnellweb.com • May 2nd, 2009 • Category: Blog Entries.Local

Today was bittersweet as it was probably Breck’s last time fencing in the Youth division. He went out in style, winning The Battle of Chancellorsville by beating his nemesis in the final bout. (Breck was 0 for 2008 against this kid, but has beat him 3 in a row now in 2009).

Even better, first prize […]

Wild First Friday

My 40s have caught up with me and I can’t go out like I used to. Wow what a night Fred. Vegas. If you were out last night, big props for making it one of the most crowded and somehow tamest FFs in a long time. I was expecting lots of fun and inappropr…

By From http://fredericksburgrealestateblog.com • May 2nd, 2009 • Category: Blog Entries.Local

Home prices to double by 2015.  I recently read that headline in an article contained within a newsletter from Fairway Independent Mortgage, where my friend and long time preferred lender Kim Thagholm is a Mortgage Planner.  I read the article with a skeptical mind, and contemplated how this would play out in the Fredericksburg real estate market.

Rob Wittman Requests $94 Million in Earmarks

By From http://fred2blue.com • May 1st, 2009 • Category: Blog Entries.Local

h/t I’m Surrounded by Idiots
From Fredericksburg to Newport News, Congressman Wittman hasn’t left any constituent behind in his 2010 appropriations request. A free clinic, a wildlife refuge, an automated system to prepare disability claims. You know, the typical big-government bleeding-heart crap you expect from a conservative Republican.
