Pausing for a climate change article

At the risk of adding fuel to the climate change fire, I found this article that articulates (pun intended) some of what I've saying for several years:  we have to be very careful how we respond to climate change.  If we continue to focus solely on the politically expedient "global warming" and "carbon footprint" issues and how to fix them, a narrow minded do-gooder approach may cause more harm than good.  We need to view the environment as a world-wide system upon which EVERY action we take has consequences.  Developing a sustainable human/Nature relationship is not a liberal or conservative political issue, it is simply the best method for ensuring a survivable climate for our future generations.  We must face the fact that the climate is changing - regardless of who we blame for it - and how we respond to this will affect our descendants.
