Fredericksburg has crime and robberies…

In today’s FLS there are two reports of home invasions. The first occurs in Spotsylvania when an intruder demands money and an XBox while using a shotgun. The pair wrestle outside until the intruder announces that this is a prank and it’s going to be on Myspace.

The second involved a 27 year old who punched through a Hanover St. window at 3am, only to run away and leave a bloody trail for police to follow. The wound needed 12 stitches and included a free ride to jail.
At first I saw these articles and immediately I tensed at the amount of crime this area experiences.
However, if we must have crime, I hope all criminals have the same IQ as these buffoons.
