The pesky coastal low

This radar view shows the current location of the coastal low that is one of the factors in our weather for the next few days. It is located just south of Wilmington NC and is forecast to drift slowly northward over the next several days. There is not much chance of this system becoming tropical given the overall weather conditions, but for those "hurricane junkies" don't fret...the National Hurricane Center has the latest tropical wave just off the African coast listed as a high probability for development. That system, however, is well over a week away from showing up on our East Coast radar screens...
