Catherine Crabill is a Birther (but doesn’t want you to know it)

By From http://fred2blue.com • Aug 1st, 2009 • Category: Blog Entries.Local

Just out of curiosity, I wanted to see if Catherine Crabill, Republican nominee for the 99th House District seat, was a birther (people who think Pres. Obama wasn’t born in the U.S. because he hasn’t produced a birth certificate…even though he has). The woman thinks that the government blew up the Oklahoma City federal building […]

LOBBYISTS FORGE CONSTITUENTS’ LETTERS

By From http://fred2blue.com • Jul 31st, 2009 • Category: Blog Entries.Local

Whoa doctor.
Daily Progress:
As U.S. Rep. Tom Perriello was considering how to vote on an important piece of climate change legislation in June, the freshman congressman’s office received at least six letters from two Charlottesville-based minority organizations voicing opposition to the measure.
The letters, as it turns out, were forgeries.
“They stole our name. They stole our logo. […]

A new poll out from SurveyUSA shows McDonnell leading Deeds by 15%. The people used in this sample voted for McCain by 9% last November, but as we know Obama won Virginia by 6%….a 15% swing.

Laura Sellers, 24, Running for Garrisonville Supervisor in Stafford Co.

By From http://fred2blue.com • Jul 28th, 2009 • Category: Blog Entries.Local, Stafford

Recently a local right-wing blog mocked the fact that someone as young as Laura Sellers would run for a seat on the Stafford County Board of Supervisors. In response, Garrisionville Supervisor Mark Dudenhefer emailed his fellow Republican, blogger Eric Martin, asking him to not engage in personal attacks. His response to Dudenhefer’s email was: but, […]

What’s Fox “Mad” About Now?

By From http://fred2blue.com • Jul 28th, 2009 • Category: Blog Entries.Local

You can’t make this stuff up. Last night my wife and I watched an episode from the second season of Mad Men, probably the best show on television. The show takes place in 1962 at a Madison Ave. ad agency.
In this particular episode:
Harry calls a friend at CBS to inquire about job openings. There aren’t […]

Gone for Goode?

By From http://fred2blue.com • Jul 27th, 2009 • Category: Blog Entries.Local

You may have heard by now that Virgil Goode has decided against seeking a rematch next year with Congressman Tom Perriello (VA-5). I actually don’t agree with the sentiment that this is a bad thing for Perriello. Goode may be a bigot and a joke to a lot of people (like myself), but he won […]

Ken Cuccinelli Stands With Catherine Crabill

By From http://fred2blue.com • Jul 27th, 2009 • Category: Blog Entries.Local

UPDATE:
The only folks on the right, that I’m aware of, to denounce Crabill are conservative bloggers. No Republican leaders or elected officials have said anything, and Catherine Crabill is still listed on the RPV and House GOP websites. And keep in mind these comments are so outrageous that they’ve made headlines as far away as […]
