Why Many Politicians Don’t Respect or Listen to Bloggers

By From http://fred2blue.com • Jun 20th, 2009 • Category: Blog Entries.Local

From the left: Obama is just like Bush
From the right: Obama is a Socialist
You catch my drift?
Here’s the thing… you may have a large megaphone, but you’re still one person. Democratic/progressive bloggers aren’t “the left.” Right now, if you’re reading many of the leading national political blogs on the left (DailyKos, AMERICAblog, FireDogLake, etc.), you’d […]

Republican Candidate for Attorney General Doesn’t Know the Law

By From http://fred2blue.com • Jun 18th, 2009 • Category: Blog Entries.Local, Stafford

Ken Cuccinelli speaking in Stafford Regional Airport, bragging about his opposition to ALL collective bargaining:

Yeah, here’s the thing about that:
In the United States, the National Labor Relations Act (1935) covers most collective agreements in the private sector. This act makes it illegal for employers to discriminate, spy on, harass, or terminate the employment of workers […]

When a candidate, in […]

President Obama: Support Creigh Deeds for Governor of Virginia

By From http://fred2blue.com • Jun 15th, 2009 • Category: Blog Entries.Local

Not only was his win here over Hillary Clinton one of his most impressive victories of all the state primaries and caucuses last year, but Barack Obama was the first Democrat to carry the state in the general election since Lyndon Johnson in 1964. And it was no accident. Ignoring the critics (you know who […]

By From http://fred2blue.com • Jun 14th, 2009 • Category: Blog Entries.Local, Stafford

In an effort to replace Sen. John Chichester in 2007 with a more conservative Republican, the Stafford County GOP held a firehouse primary where voters had to sign a loyalty oath saying they’d vote for the eventual nominee. This was supposed to ensure a very conservative nominee since Chichester has always depended on the support […]
