Today, Del. Albert Pollard made it official by announcing he’ll be on the ballot in the 99th District for a fifth time this November.
While Pollard is a heavy favorite, nothing should be left to chance with this pack vying for the GOP nomination. Catherine Crabill, for example, refers to the federal government as “The Great Tyrant.” Nice, […]

And Moran Campaign, You’re Doin’ a Heckuva Job

By From http://fred2blue.com • Mar 28th, 2009 • Category: Blog Entries.Local

A week ago I was booted as a front-pager at Blue Commonwealth. Why? Because someone was leaking our PRIVATE, OFF-THE-RECORD group emails anonymously. Since the spineless, pathetic coward never came forward, several people were purged from the list…myself included. I was mad, but haven’t complained. If I was in Dave’s (the site’s administrator) shoes, I would […]

Politico’s Ben Smith:
Obama answered one of the sillier marijuana questions that deluged his Open for Questions site: Whether legalizing pot couldn’t be the solution to the nation’s economic woes.
“I don’t know what this says about the online audience,” Obama said, adding that he didn’t want anyone to think he was dodging a popular question.
“No, I […]

According to Huffington Post:
One House GOP leadership aide said Cantor went at the request of a fundraiser.
Well, there you have it.
It’s not hard to figure out what Cantor’s up to….just follow the money. I really think that once Republicans get tired of finding things to name after Ronald Reagan, they’re going to change K Street […]

For Virginia, Creigh Deeds

What follows is not a Fred2Blue endorsement, but rather that of the author.
He may have been elected Commonwealth’s Attorney, Delegate, and State Senator in the Shenandoah Valley, but Creigh Deeds knows Virginia as well as any candidate for Governor in recent memory. Sen. Deeds passed through the Fredericksburg area many times over the years; first as House Democratic Caucus Chairman, then […]
